The Ultimate Price

Have you ever seen an advertisement for a luxury purse on sale for free? We see prices for clothes and cars, and material things in different ways. We look at food and see the different prices and we look at new Jordans and see the new pair for hundreds of dollars, but these things lose value. The only thing that does not change is Jesus. The price of his blood and body can never be purchased even if you’re the richest person on earth. As I rediscover the love and truth of his death on the cross. I understand that no matter what I have done or what accomplishments I get. These things are still of no value. Why do you say this? Because we hear of people having all the success, and still lack joy and life. They search for it through different ways.

The ultimate luxury gift we can get, the thing that holds the most value is Jesus dying for our sins. His price that he paid will give life and joy. As a Christian I experienced moments when the enemy came to blind even Christian because of situations and trials. The focus is to not gain the Pinterest perfect closet, or the best dressed on Sunday.

The focus is Jesus. Our daily distractions sometimes cause us to draft and forget this, until we get in the word and build a relationship with Jesus. This is when the gift of Life is priced as the highest price and quality. His death cost more than the most expensive silk or diamond. So, as you put on your best dress for Easter and as you post a new luxury bag. Remember and spend time with Jesus. Communion with him and allow life to be restored through his death and resurrection power.
