Spring into His Presenece

Matthew 6:6 ESV

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

As we leap into spring and allow God's plans to be unveiled in our daily life. Ask yourself this question. Where does the Cross and Jesus have time in my life? This is just a continuation from the March 31 post.

As Jesus is purifying my heart and stirring a delight for the bible in a new way. I have to share with you. I didn't realize the distractions of my phone and social media were a trap to block me from spending more time with Abba. I was studying the word and still giving social media more time than my bible. Don't feel bad, we all go through some kind of challenge in our faith at some point. I realized that I had to stop the hours of time on the websites and even YouTube. We all have ways we can surrender, so we can grow closer to God.

Luke 10:38-42 ESV

Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

Matthew 6:33 ESV

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

The truth is to find our way back to our presence. This will be hard, but as Jesus discerns our heart desire for more of his presence and a relationship with him. We find that his sweet Holy spirit will begin to draw us. I watch days when I can spend hours with him, then days when his presence seems so far away. I understand that this is just growing pain and frustration. I could sense that there was more, but I couldn't put my figure on what it was I was looking for. Have you ever experienced this yet?

I have found spending time with Abba by water to be so refreshing and even learning to turn off my phone more now. You will find your way as well.

Here are a few steps to help you on your spiritual walk and journey:

1. Pray for closeness with him.

2. Pray for desire to delight in his word more.

3. Start reading your bible, Sis! ( Just start and Jesus will meet you halfway)

4. I started taking communion back in 2023, so order you some communion.

5. Fasting. Yes, beloved. I said it fast. Pray for Abba instructions on how you should fast.

Bonus Tip: Sit still by nature or water and allow the stillness of creation to show you how amazing the creator is .
