As we step into March, it's the perfect time to reflect on our spiritual journey. A journey that is not defined by the physical eyes but the heart's faith. "For we walk by faith, not by sight," as beautifully stated in 2 Corinthians 5:7. This new year, let's make a resolution to strengthen our faith and let the word of God be our guiding light.

Our faith journey is not always smooth, and there will be times when it is put to the test. It is during these challenging times that we must not give up on the progress that we have made. "Dear Father, as my faith is being put to the test, help me not to give up on the progress that we have made. Let my heart be healed from past and mind be renewed by your word. Amen."

Prayer is an important part of our faith journey. It is a powerful tool that helps us connect with God and express our innermost thoughts and feelings. And when we pray with faith, we are assured of receiving answers. Matthew 21:22 encourages us with these words, "And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."

But what is faith and how do we acquire it? Hebrews 11:6 provides an answer to this, "But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Faith is believing in the existence of God and His ability to reward those who seek him diligently. It is more than just a belief, it's a conviction that influences our actions and decisions.

So, how do we strengthen our faith? Romans 10:17 gives us a clue, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." The word of God is a powerful tool in building our faith. It provides us with guidance, comfort, and encouragement in our journey of faith. It is through the word of God that we learn about His character, promises, and His love for us.

As we embark on this journey of faith in the new year, let's take a moment to thank God for His guidance and ask for His continued support.
