Worship is a form of communication to Abba. We are instructed to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Some days I find myself putting on a show. I didn't realize it until I asked God to search my heart and that’s when I realized and he made clear: I had been performing. Part of me was sad and another part confused for the longest time because I didn't understand what He was trying to revelate to me. In this moment, Lord, I hear and sense Your presence calling me deeper into another level of the unknown. A place of deeper worship and deeper praise. I communicate with God through dance. It is my way of fellowshipping. I could sense as I danced before him that our intimacy was about change and transform me even more. You might say, “dance?” Yes, dance. What is the way you worship and communicate with God? There are many ways to worship. We worship by obeying Him. We worship by helping the poor. We worship even when we honor Him at our jobs. Worship is essential as Sean from Bethel Church made clear during the pandemic. Worship is our weapon. I pray that we all begin to understand worship on a new level in our minds, hearts, and will. Let's keep worshipping the King. He deserves it.
