How to start blogging as a Christian

Faith Blogger Event Promotion
I have always desired to write and blog and create a space for my writing to help in some way. It wasn’t until around 2020 that I was in a prophetic writer course, and we were in prayer, and I saw clear as day “Thought 101” and I realized that Jesus was giving me the name for my blog. I was writing and journaling, but fear of not being able to edit and spell correctly what I was writing in my private time scared me. The fear of people judging and not accepting my writing and values. This all changed when I moved to Georgia for a season to be with my family and I got a Christian life coach to help me break past the fears and launch my first blog and website.
As you start, write down ideas for your blog. I will always pray for creative understanding and ideas for the blog. You might have to step out in faith and believe that your story and writing will help others and inspire others as well. You will then need to set up the domain and website. You can use Wix, WordPress, or so many others that have the option to blog. Take some time and write out 30 blog post ideas. Now, keep in mind this can change as your writing and brand grows over time. You will discover your brand identity as you create and allow Jesus to help brand the vision. Ask yourself who will you write to? Is it for young girls or women 50 and plus. As you look at my brand I always desired to blog and create content around my faith and fashion.
Lastly, create a mood board with pictures and colors that you desire your brand to transform into. You just need to get started after that. You don’t need a logo or thousands of pictures, just a pen and journal and a quiet place to write. You're going to make mistakes, don’t be afraid to learn as you build. I would just say stay consistent and be okay with change.
